Job Opportunity
DevOps Systems Administrator
You will work with advanced virtualization and cloud technologies, contributing to mission and data processing activities while advancing your career in the space industry within a dynamic, international team.

Your Responsibilities
- Perform installation, administration and management of operating systems and/or properly configure software on servers (e.g., install new software releases, system upgrades, evaluate and install patches and resolve software related problems).
- Administration and operation of cloud environment (OpenStack, VMWare, Kubernetes).
- Administration and operation of DevOps environment.
- Plan and perform appropriate procedures, documentation, inventory assessment.
- Monitor of operated/administered environment Monitor systems and applications performances to track operating efficiency.
- Test and implement technical solutions and provide strong operational support on virtualization architectures.
- Work with team to automate management tasks, streamline processes and perform standard administration functions as needed.
- Conduct software and hardware evaluations, provide technical analysis and implement systems to meet Customer's IT goals.
- Report status and flags issues, especially in a proactive manner.
- Participate to the On-Call service

Your Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Secondary school diploma
  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in the field of Cloud and DevOps
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, Linux automation (e.g., scripting, ansible, python), GitLab, Rancher, Prometheus, Harbor, Helm and Velero, Traefik and MetalLB, Grafana
  • Expert on Linux (RedHat based distributions, e.g., Centos, Red Hat) installation/administration and tuning
  • Experience in data centers, complex IT environments, and setting up virtual environments on both physical and cloud platforms is a plus
