Job Title: Senior Associate - Energy

ING Bank NV is seeking a talented Senior Associate to join its Wholesale Banking Energy Sector team in Milan.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the origination, structuring, and execution of corporate and project financings, with a focus on Renewable and New Energies transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Originate and execute corporate and project financings, including risk/return analysis and due diligence.
  • Develop and review project finance debt models, and negotiate legal documentation.
  • Monitor sector, market, and technological developments, and build a solid understanding of the Energy sector.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from other departments, including corporate finance, debt advisory, and structuring.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Economics, Engineering, or Math.
  • 5-7 years of relevant project/corporate finance lending experience, ideally in Energy transactions.
  • High level of self-motivation and commercial drive.
  • Ability to perform under tight deadlines, preserving quality and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
  • Flexible and global mindset, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
