Procurement Specialist

Alstom is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team in Rome, Italy. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for deploying commodity strategies, ensuring project execution in line with QCD objectives, and piloting local contractual relationships with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identification of project and business needs

• Preparation and launch of Request For Quotation with suppliers using the standard tool

• Negotiation of cost reduction with suppliers

• Inputs provider/contributor for order placement

• Ensure QCD targets achievement, CONQ (Cost Of Non Quality) & claims management

• Lead supplier QCD performance reviews

• Management of initial issues before escalation to line manager

• Respect Alstom Transport code of ethics and guidelines

Requirements:

• 3-4 years of Buyer experience

• Subcontracting strong negotiation skills

• Installations activities environment knowledge is a must

• Experience in Signaling and Infrastructure / Civil works companies are very welcome

• Business school or Engineering degree

• Fluent English and international background is a must

• Good interpersonal skills
