Position Overview:
As a key member of Amazon Online Italy S.R.L. - E15, the Advertising Design Technology team is dedicated to custom development and prototyping for advertisers and agencies. We specialize in the creation, prototyping, and implementation of unique branded experiences across various Amazon platforms.

Role Responsibilities:
In this role, you will balance your time between strategic planning and hands-on execution. Your contributions will be pivotal in defining new advertising products, developing pre-sales prototypes, and executing custom campaigns, collaborating closely with Designers, Product Managers, Engineers, and Account teams.

You will possess a deep understanding of current and emerging web technologies, with a strong focus on user-centered design principles. Your proficiency in vanilla JavaScript, both client-side and server-side, will enable you to build libraries and automate tasks to enhance development efficiency.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Managing the complete development process and deliverables from both design and technical perspectives.
  • Collaborating with business teams to formulate campaign strategies, use cases, and technical specifications.
  • Presenting your work to peers, product teams, and executive leadership.
  • Creating high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
  • Working alongside program and product managers to identify and evaluate features for future product offerings.

Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates who demonstrate:
  • Extensive web development experience across diverse devices, web views, and browsers.
  • The ability to distill complex problems into intuitive and elegant user experiences.
  • Experience in delivering functional prototypes for new devices.
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex concepts clearly to various audiences within the organization.
  • Involvement in the entire design and development lifecycle, including ideation, prototyping, development, backward compatibility, fail-overs, validation, and user testing.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Significant experience as a developer or technologist.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in a wide range of technologies, including but not limited to: Vanilla JS, NodeJS, React, Redux, SASS/CSS, and Responsive/Adaptive Design.
  • Experience utilizing AWS in production settings.
  • Understanding of performance optimization and latency mitigation strategies.
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Sketch and Figma.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of the AWS Stack and its configuration: S3, CloudFront, Lambda, Route 53, EC2, Bedrock, and ML.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing, advertising, and metrics in the entertainment sector.
  • Experience in creative ideation and brainstorming sessions with internal and external partners.
  • Knowledge of Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Alexa, Voice Design, WebGL, and creative frontend technologies.
  • A degree in computer science, technology, design, or equivalent professional experience.
