We are seeking an experienced Accounting & Tax Lead to join our finance team at Sysmex Europe GmbH. As a key member, you will be responsible for managing the company's accounting processes, ensuring transparency, integrity, and strong accuracy in financial data.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Local and Group Accounting Policies, as well as experience in managing complex financial systems. You will be responsible for coordinating daily operations, managing and improving the Month End process, and guaranteeing strong ledger accuracy at cost center level.

Additionally, you will oversee treasury activities, identify and deliver process/system improvements in Accounting, and manage Fixed Assets/Current assets/Current liabilities/Losses & Profits / VAT / Tax. Collaboration with the external Tax consultant and adherence to relevant financial regulations will also be key responsibilities.

As a point of contact between internal departments and Accounting, you will ensure that all financial records are complete and accurate, prepare regular financial reports, and assist with auditing and tax preparation. Implementing and enforcing financial and inventory controls will also be an essential part of your role.

The successful candidate will have a university degree in Accounting or equivalent business experience, with a strong proficiency in Italian and fluent English skills. Previous experience in a similar position, preferably with complex and structured organizations, will be highly valued.
