Position Overview

The Quality Assurance Project Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the project management team with all quality-related matters to ensure the successful achievement of project objectives, focusing on quality standards, supplier and subcontractor performance, and overall customer satisfaction.

This role involves leading the implementation, assessment, and enhancement of processes throughout the entire value chain, aiming to boost customer satisfaction and profitability while maintaining a safe working environment across projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the execution of Project Gate Reviews, ensuring compliance with quality standards and customer expectations from the bidding phase through project execution and site implementation.
  • Collaborate with clients on quality-related issues, ensuring accountability for resolving any concerns.
  • Facilitate and mentor project team members in assessing risks, challenges, and solutions from a quality and stakeholder perspective.
  • Evaluate the transferability of experiences across projects and plan Quality Assurance activities to mitigate risks effectively.
  • Work alongside the project team to create schedules, estimates, forecasts, and budgets for quality initiatives.
  • Implement project quality procedures and ensure adherence and compliance from all team members.
  • Validate that robust internal control systems are established to ensure processes meet customer and stakeholder requirements, confirming that control plans are effective in managing prioritized risks.
  • Conduct audits on project delivery, utilizing Quality data analytics to identify risks, failures, and non-conformities within the business, its suppliers, and customers, ensuring appropriate corrective and preventive actions are taken.
  • Uphold core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for personal actions while fostering a supportive environment for colleagues and the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering (preferably in electrical, industrial, or management fields).
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Quality or Project Management role.
  • Certified ISO9001 auditor.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent in English (B2/C1) and Italian, both written and spoken.
  • A collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn.
  • Strong customer orientation.
