Job Description

As a Project Quality Specialist at HITACHI ENERGY ITALY S.P.A., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our projects and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation and execution of Project Gate Reviews to ensure process adherence to quality standards and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with customers to resolve project quality issues and ensure ownership of actions to resolve them.
  • Enable and coach project team members to evaluate risks, problems, and solutions from a quality and customer/stakeholder perspective.
  • Analyze transferability of experience between projects and plan Quality Assurance activities to reduce all forms of risk.
  • Collaborate with the project team to develop schedules, estimates, forecasts, and budgets for quality activities.
  • Apply project quality procedures and plans and ensure appropriate implementation and compliance from the project team.
  • Certify effective internal controls systems (project, supply, site) are in place to verify that processes continue to meet customer and stakeholder requirements.
  • Perform audits on project delivery and ensure the use of Quality data analytics from all aspects of the operation to identify risks, failures, and non-conformances within the local business, its suppliers, and customers.
  • Ensure that appropriate corrective and preventive actions are taken, and solutions are managed to closure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering (preferably electrical, industrial, or management).
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in Quality/Project Management role.
  • Certified auditor ISO 9001.
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in English (B2/C1) and Italian, both written and spoken.
  • Collaborative approach and willingness to learn.
  • Strong customer-oriented.
