Senior Category Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Category Strategist to lead our packaging innovations efforts. This is a unique opportunity to drive business growth and shape the future of the packaging industry.

This role will oversee the development and implementation of a global category strategy for packaging innovations. Key responsibilities include:

• Defining and implementing a strategic benchmark for the category, ensuring alignment with internal stakeholders across multiple sites
• Driving supplier sourcing activities, including regular technology intelligence monitoring to identify opportunities for cost reduction
• Developing and executing a pipeline of cost reduction initiatives and opportunities across all sourcing levers
• Liaising with stakeholders to ensure they adopt and deliver strategy sourcing plans
• Ensuring consistency of sourcing roadmap data and target achievements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• 5+ years of international and global sourcing experience, preferably within a complex organization
• A Master's degree or equivalent, with an engineering background considered a plus
• Strong leadership and change management capabilities
• A global mindset, excellent communication skills, and fluency in English (Italian and German are also desirable)
