About the Role

OHB Italia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join its Satellite and Missions Department in Rome or Milano as a Satellite Verification Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the verification and validation of small satellites, ensuring timely and budget-friendly implementation of all relevant activities.
  • Coordinate and monitor the execution of verification and validation tasks, ensuring compliance with project schedules and budgets.
  • Contribute to the development of design, development, and verification plans, as well as the definition of verification methods and stages.
  • Manage the requirement specification process, from customer to equipment level, and ensure the accurate documentation of deviations.
  • Support satellite verification and assembly, integration, and testing (AIT) activities, and prepare and execute system and acceptance tests with customers.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of satellite systems engineering, including requirements engineering, functional analysis, and verification control.
  • Experience in satellite verification, including participation in AIT campaigns.
  • Excellent sense of responsibility, with a structured and hands-on work approach.
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work autonomously, with good interpersonal skills and fluency in English.
  • University degree (Master/PhD) or equivalent education, plus relevant proven work experience in industry.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with requirements management tools, such as Doors.
  • Knowledge of Model Based System Engineering.
  • Concurrent engineering tools, such as Confluence and Jira.
  • Italian language proficiency.
