About the Role

NXP Semiconductors is seeking a highly skilled Mixed Signal Verification Leader to join our team. As a key member of our verification team, you will be responsible for leading the execution of verification projects for our mixed-signal circuit designs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of verification engineers and contractors to drive the execution of verification projects
  • Develop and implement verification strategies to ensure 100% functional coverage prior to tapeout
  • Collaborate with design leaders, verification architects, and product definers to define test specifications and verification plans
  • Develop and validate high-performance behavioral models and simulation environments
  • Prepare and hold design verification reviews and create regression test suites
  • Review verification team deliverables and report bugs and propose solutions
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience verifying mixed-signal ASICs
  • Expertise in mixed signal/co-simulation verification methodologies
  • Strong competencies in developing and validating behavioral models for analog IPs
  • Working knowledge of state-of-the-art EDA tools: Cadence Virtuoso, Cadence Xcelium/Spectre, Cadence Vmanager
  • Strong background in design and verification languages and methodologies (e.g., Verilog, SystemVerilog, UVM, SVA)
  • Experience in configuration database management (DesignSync, Git, SVN)
  • Solid scripting skills (Python or Perl or TCL)
  • Experience in growing engineers to their next level
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in promoting verification methodology and strategies to different teams
  • Tools: Collabnet, JIRA, Confluence
