Job Title: Local Contract Logistics Information Systems Expert

Experis, the Talent Company of ManpowerGroup, is seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Local Contract Logistics Information Systems Expert. This role will be based in Mantova, Italy, and will be responsible for managing the logistics information systems for a leading company in the logistics sector.

Responsibilities:
  • Collect and analyze functional requirements from external and internal clients
  • Supervise and monitor the correct functioning of information systems and perform constant maintenance of local information systems, focusing mainly on the WMS of Blue Yonder
  • Create and update documentation of processes and systems implemented and configured
  • Design and implement integrations between client ERP systems and other systems to meet business needs and ensure efficient flow of goods
  • Provide training to users to support learning of information systems and enable internal stakeholders to be independent in using tools
  • Conduct continuous improvement activities related to local WMS and other information systems to maximize the effectiveness of IT tools, resolve current problems, and prevent potential problems, and facilitate/accelerate the flow of goods
  • Provide functional requirements to developers for new features requested by the WMS
Requirements:
  • 2-5 years of experience in a third-party logistics company (3PL) dedicated to WMS implementations
  • Proven experience in the field of IT projects, software integration
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of information systems such as ERP and WMS applied in operational environments such as warehouses or production factories
  • Experience in metric-oriented and data analysis-based work environments, characterized by strict SLA and deadline compliance, and ability to prioritize problems and tasks using ticketing systems
