Job Title: Produce Clerk

Job Summary:

Festival Foods is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Produce Clerk to join our team. As a Produce Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining stock levels, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a high standard of quality and freshness in our produce department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Replenish produce stock as needed to maintain optimal levels
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and assisting guests with finding items
  • Stock and maintain product levels, including rotating stock and following display standards
  • Log and record shrink, temperatures, and other important data
  • Maintain the produce cooler, rotating stock and keeping the area clean and organized
  • Order and receive produce shipments, including dips, spices, and herbs
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including maintaining a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at a fast pace
  • Knowledge of the retail food business and perishable department operations
  • Ability to make timely and effective decisions
