About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Bartender to join our team at The Hoxton in Florence. As a key member of our bar operations team, you will be responsible for leading our bartenders and ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional drinking experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the bar manager in running a fun and fast-paced bar operation day and night.
- Develop and implement innovative cocktail menus and promotions to drive sales and increase customer satisfaction.
- Train and mentor junior bartenders to improve their skills and knowledge.
- Monitor and control stock levels, waste, and inventory to minimize costs and maximize profitability.
- Work closely with the restaurant team to ensure seamless service and high-quality food and drink offerings.
- Lead by example, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills and a passion for delivering an outstanding guest experience.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a bartender or bar manager in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent knowledge of spirits, beers, and wines, with a passion for mixology and cocktail creation.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team.
- Ability to work well under pressure, multitasking and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
- Fluency in English, with a strong understanding of hospitality industry terminology.
