The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Benefits Specialist to join our team in Brugherio, Italy. As a key member of our Total Rewards team, you will be responsible for leading and delivering compensation and benefits processes, including job evaluation, compensation planning, and benefits administration.

Your Impact

As a Senior Benefits Specialist, you will have a significant impact on our organization, working closely with internal stakeholders to design and implement Total Rewards programs that align with market practices. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that our benefits offerings are competitive and meet the needs of our employees.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver compensation and benefits processes, including job evaluation, compensation planning, and benefits administration.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to design and implement Total Rewards programs that align with market practices.
  • Develop and implement market benefits as needed.
  • Proactively manage and maintain relationships with vendors.
  • Recommend annual merit increase plans and salary structure movements.
  • Lead market annual compensation processes for the administration of annual increases, bonuses, and long-term incentives.
  • Support expatriates' management.
  • Support or lead ad-hoc Total Rewards projects.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven Total Rewards experience, preferably in retail or media industries.
  • Experience working as a standalone expert in the Italian market, partnering with all levels of stakeholders.
  • Experience in supporting the review and design of Total Reward programs, including external analysis, creating business cases, and stakeholder management.
  • Knowledge of Willis Towers Watson and Mercer job evaluation methodology.
  • Experience leading key compensation processes, including annual compensation review cycles, annual salary surveys, and bonus and LTI administration.
  • Experience leading key benefits processes, including benefits implementation, annual reviews, and closedowns.
  • Good understanding of Italy's regulatory and compliance-related topics.
  • Experience in budget management and cost calculation.
  • Experience working with an HRIS, knowledge of Workday.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, with the ability to translate technical content for the team.
  • PC skills, including advanced working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Strong math and analytical skills, with the ability to solve problems effectively.
