Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Junior Software Developer to join our rapidly expanding team in Milano Bicocca. As a key member of our RD team, you will contribute to the design and development of software applications dedicated to video streaming, collaborating closely with multi-disciplinary teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Participating in the design and development of software applications for video streaming
  • Ensuring code performance and quality
  • Developing and managing internal and public web applications
  • Proposing, evaluating, and adopting new technologies to maximize development efficiency
  • Delivering testable, maintainable, and high-quality code and taking operational responsibility for developed components
Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A passion for software craftsmanship, including testing and documentation
  • Proactivity and autonomy in working with international peers
  • Eagerness to learn and improve every day
  • Excellent teamwork skills and a high degree of collaboration
  • Conversational English level and willingness to share time with an international team
  • Previous programming experience with at least one of the following languages: C#, Java, Python
  • Basic knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, SASS, and LESS
  • Basic knowledge of JS tools: NodeJS, npm, Automation tools (Webpack/Lint)
  • Basic knowledge of version control systems: GIT
  • Interest in developing skills with modern JS Frameworks (Angular, React, VueJS)
  • Basic experience with Unit Testing, Test Driven Development
