About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team at Solaris Biotech, a Donaldson brand. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing innovative bioreactors and fermenters for the biotech, pharma, and food and beverage industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop bioreactors and fermenters that meet the needs of our customers and exceed their expectations.
- Apply industry and engineering knowledge to innovate and solve complex customer challenges, creating a competitive advantage for our company.
- Develop technical documentation, including layouts, PFDs, P&IDs, mass and energy balances, URS, and technical specifications.
- Ensure that all engineering designs meet cGMP, pharmaceutical technical regulation, and local regulations.
- Commission and test bioreactors and fermenters at manufacturing and customer sites.
A Master's degree in Chemical/Process/Pharmaceutical Engineering is required. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience as a Process Engineer in a bioprocessing, food and beverage, or pharma industry.
Desirable Skills:- Knowledge of process control and P&IDs standard settings.
- Capability of hydraulic sizing of lines and main process equipment.
- Knowledge of safety regulation related to machinery.
- Experience in using 2D/3D software such as Autocad, Solid Edge, Solidworks.
- Strong communication skills.
- Capability to manage multiple projects.
- Willingness to travel in Italy and abroad.
