Job Description

**Job Title:** Compliance Officer - BNP Paribas Cardif

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Officer to join our team at BNP Paribas Cardif. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our business operations are in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide reasonable assurance that our Compliance set-up is complete and consistent with our policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that our Compliance permanent control is performed and followed up with concrete action plans.
  • Provide support and guidance to our Business teams on Compliance matters.
  • Make Compliance decisions and/or deliver advice on issues reported by local and central teams.
  • Prevent and manage conflicts of interest situations.
  • Ensure training and awareness of our Business teams on Compliance matters.
  • Represent the Compliance Function for BNP Paribas Cardif with regulatory and supervisory bodies.
  • Organize the regulatory watch on our perimeter.
  • Represent the Compliance Function in local Committees as a member or permanent invitee.
  • Report aggregated and individual Compliance risks, specific issues, and mitigation plans to our Management and Board.
Requirements:
  • Extensive knowledge of applicable Italian regulatory framework and its evolutions.
  • Knowledge of Compliance issues and challenges specific to our environment (Business Lines, Countries, Regions), as well as procedures.
  • Knowledge of Insurance and its distribution modes (products, clients, processes,...).
  • Degree in Law, Economics, or Finance (at least 5 years of studies).
  • At least 10 years of work experience required, including at least an experience of 5 years within Compliance, especially in protection of clients.

Language Skills:
  • Italian. The position requires fluent English (spoken and written).
Contract Type and Remuneration:

The offer will be a full-time permanent contract, and the relative remuneration will be consistent with the National Insurance Contract.
