Local Compliance Officer role at BNP Paribas Cardif involves ensuring Compliance set-up within the entity is complete, consistent, and efficient, providing reasonable assurance to the CEO and Board.

Responsibilities:

\u2022 Lead and organize the Compliance function within the Cardif entity, under the hierarchical supervision of the Board.
\u2022 Assess and report a consolidated view of the entity's Compliance risks to the entity's Board and Top Management.
\u2022 Develop a strong Compliance culture in line with principles of Independence, Expertise, Accountability, and Dialogue.

Main Activities:

\u2022 Provide reasonable assurance that the Compliance set-up within the entity is complete, consistent, and efficient.
\u2022 Ensure consistent transposition and deployment of policies and methodologies provided by Cardif Head Office.
\u2022 Perform Compliance permanent control and follow up on concrete action plans.
\u2022 Support and guide Business teams.
\u2022 Make Compliance decisions and deliver advice on issues reported by local and central teams.
\u2022 Prevent and manage conflicts of interest situations.
\u2022 Ensure training and awareness of Business teams.

\u2022 Regional Compliance Officer and Domain Experts.
\u2022 Entity's CEO and management.
\u2022 Entity's Board of Directors and Supervisory Board.
\u2022 Regulatory and supervisory Insurance authorities.

Education, Experience, and Technical Skills:

\u2022 Extensive knowledge of applicable Italian regulatory framework and its evolutions.
\u2022 Knowledge of Compliance issues and challenges specific to the environment.
\u2022 Knowledge of Insurance and its distribution modes.
\u2022 Degree in Law, Economics, or Finance (at least 5 years studies).
\u2022 At least 10 years of work experience, including at least 5 years within Compliance.

Language Skills:

\u2022 Italian.

Contract Type and Remuneration:

\u2022 The offer will be a full-time permanent contract with remuneration consistent with the National Insurance Contract.
