The Role
We're looking for an experienced Team Leader who can drive high-quality output from our teams while having a strong delivery mindset. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Lean practices, and a bias for action with a customer-centric approach.
The successful candidate will participate in the design and specification of new architecture, features, and solutions, drive high-quality output from our teams, and provide reports and insights to management. They will also build relationships between technical teams and stakeholders, increase collaboration, and facilitate better communication.
Requirements
- Previous significant hands-on experience in a Software Engineering role
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Lean practices
- Bias for action and customer-centric approach
- Experience in working in an environment that promotes a DevOps mindset, Continuous Integration, and Delivery
- Track Record of proven people management experience focused on developing and growing people
- Commercial experience with PHP frameworks such as Symfony and Laravel, experience with NodeJS and Vue.JS is a plus
- Strong Software Engineering skills, strong SW Design capabilities, fluent on practices and principles
- Strong English communication skills (both spoken and written)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Participate in the design and specification of new architecture, features, and solutions
- Drive high-quality output from our teams while having a strong delivery mindset
- Provide reports and insights to management - plan and track project progress using Agile metrics and estimation
- Build relationships between technical teams and stakeholders, and increase collaboration and facilitate better communication
- Monitor our teams' productivity, and drive to uphold and improve our ways of working, engineering principles, and practices
- Manage employee career and development plans for talents in your team
- Support hiring and talent development
- Retain the best talent and key knowledge holders
