Job Title: Chef de Rang

At Château de Mercuès, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef de Rang to join our team. As a key member of our dining room staff, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Maître d'Hotel in maintaining the highest standards of service and quality.
  • Participate in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages.
  • Record orders and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure guest satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of Italian and good knowledge of English and another foreign language.
  • At least two years of experience in a similar role in a 4*/5* hotel, gourmet restaurant, or Relais & Châteaux.
  • Knowledge of wines (Sommelier certificate is a plus).
  • Strong sense of responsibility, passion, and customer orientation.

  • Fixed-term contract with possibility of extensions and/or permanent employment.
  • CCNL Tourism and placement with remuneration commensurate with experience.
  • Full-time availability on shifts.
