Senior Risk Manager Job Description

Euronext Clearing, a leading multi-asset clearing house, is seeking a seasoned Senior Risk Manager to join its team. As a key member of our risk management department, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability and security of our clearing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate credit, market, investment, and liquidity risks.
  • Monitor and analyze market data to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement risk models, backtesting, and stress testing.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Provide expert advice to clients on risk management topics.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as physics, mathematics, statistics, economics, or quantitative finance.
  • 5-7 years of experience in risk management, preferably in a banking or investment banking context.
  • Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python, Matlab, VB, Java, C++, or equivalent.
  • Deep knowledge of financial markets and instruments.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
