About the Role

As a key member of our leadership team, the Senior Operations Director will play a critical role in driving operational excellence and strategic initiatives at Cardo AI. Reporting directly to the CEO, this individual will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure scalability, and support our rapid business growth and expansion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring smooth execution and alignment with business objectives.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement operational strategies that align with company goals, driving efficiency, scalability, and growth.
  • Financial Management: Oversee budgeting for multiple projects, including monitoring and controlling costs across the business.
  • Team Management: Work closely with Human Resources to implement and refine company policies and procedures. Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams to foster a high-performance, collaborative culture.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and identify, mitigate, and manage operational risks.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience through innovation and best practices.
  • Industry Insights: Monitor the competitive landscape and attend industry events to stay informed of new trends and initiatives, ensuring that Cardo AI stays ahead of the competition.
  • Performance Metrics: Track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, using data to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Minimum of 7 years in a senior operations leadership role, with an overall experience of 10+ years; a proven track record of success in the technology industry or fintech is essential.
  • Education: Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field; MBA or advanced education is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, management, and team-building skills, with a demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence and efficiency. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively with all levels of the organisation.
  • Analytical Skills: Demonstrated experience in balancing high-level strategic thinking with hands-on operational management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-moving fintech environment.
