About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Specialist to join our team at Valmet Corporation. As a Purchasing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the purchasing of parts related to drawing materials for the Machinery Production and After Sales Area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage purchasing orders and negotiate with qualified suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.
- Create and maintain up-to-date purchasing data, including supplier information and pricing.
- Conduct negotiations with suppliers to reduce costs and improve quality.
- Prepare and manage purchase orders using SAP tools.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth purchasing processes.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical or Management Engineering.
- Previous experience in purchasing or procurement is highly desirable.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in SAP.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
