Procurement Specialist

At Westinghouse Electric Company LLC., we are committed to providing clean energy solutions and are seeking a talented Junior Procurement Analyst to join our innovative team. This position is a 6-month Internship that will support international procurement programs and projects, working cross-functionally to deliver cost, quality, delivery, reliability, and time to market goals.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the development of sourcing & procurement strategies and plans together with Offer and Project Teams.
• Identifying and capturing demand and potential suppliers.
• Preparation and coordination of the RFx Process and establishment of sourcing strategies for suppliers and services.
• Preparation of Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
• RFx development and preparation, definition of commercial conditions.
• Soliciting quotations and analyzing contract proposals, leading the formulation of strategy and negotiation of pricing, delivery, terms and conditions to satisfy requirements for highly complex and specialized materials, equipment, components, and services.
• Supporting the analysis and evaluation of all elements of cost for commodity groups to identify cost improvements, participating in the development of strategies and tactics to maximize the supplier base cost/value.
• Utilizing the corporate Approved Supplier List Process for sourcing requirements.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Westinghouse's Procurement policies and procedures.
• Supporting the Contract preparation and purchasing process.
• Supporting the Management of supply and supplier commitments after purchase order or contract is made, including change and contract management.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
• An advanced level of spoken and written English is required, any additional languages are a plus (Czech, Romanian, Polish, French, Italian, Spanish, etc.).
