Main Accountabilities Engineering ManagementYou will be responsible for the execution of engineering and design projects in various stages, including pre-design, basic, executive, and tender projects. You will supervise the technical feasibility of these projects, ensuring compliance with EDPR standards and project-specific conditions.
Additionally, you will provide strong coordination among internal teams and planification to support civil coordination and ensure effective communication between local and corporate teams.
Engineering Specialized SupportYou will support the elaboration of specifications for basic and executive projects, ensuring technical adequacy and compliance with EDPR standards. You will also provide specialized technical support in tender processes, assisting E&C teams and the Purchasing Department to guarantee the best technical-economic conditions.
You will perform CapEx estimations, risk analysis, and technical reports to ensure the successful execution of projects.
Studies CoordinationYou will coordinate and validate the execution of specific key studies with other Technical Support Units to minimize the risk associated with the construction process. These studies may include collector systems, reactive power compensation, foundation design, and noise assessments.
Provider and Supplier ManagementYou will establish relationships with main suppliers and providers to include the most efficient technical and economic options in engineering designs. This will ensure that projects are executed with the highest level of quality and efficiency.
Common StandardsYou will assure the application of common standards in studies and projects, adapting them to applicable local regulations to avoid non-justified deviations and maximize investment efficiency.
Company Policy and Legal ComplianceYou will understand and apply policies to prevent occupational hazards, environmental, and quality issues, ensuring implementation and compliance with tasks under your responsibility.
EDPR Interests RepresentationsYou will represent EDPR to agencies and institutions, public and private, in matters related to its jurisdiction, enforcing the interests of EDPR.
Required Profile:
Academic Level: Minimum Engineering Degree / Recommended Engineering Master Degree
Professional Experience: Minimum 5 years / Minimum 5 years with experience in design and/or redaction and/or revision of different kinds of projects for wind farms, PV Plants, substations, and high-voltage lines.
Coordination of Providers: Experience in managing and supervising engineering projects.
