We are seeking a highly skilled System RAMS Engineer to join our team at Hitachi Rail. As a key member of our RAM department, you will be responsible for leading the execution of the RAM Programme for our railway systems, subsystems, and products.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement RAM strategies to ensure the reliability and availability of our systems and products.
- Coordinate with prime contractors and subcontractors to ensure RAM requirements are met.
- Verify and sign off design, installation, and commissioning of systems and products to ensure RAM requirements are met.
- Support the Engineering/Product Development team in finalizing designs to guarantee maximum reliability and availability.
- Support the Commissioning Manager in identifying and prioritizing activities to ensure minimum RAM performance.
- Perform RAM governance activities and coordinate with subsystem RAM referents.
- Contribute to the delivery of systems and products in compliance with project and programme schedules and budgets.
- 5-10 years of experience in RAMS.
- Knowledge of International Standards applicable to the Railway domain, such as EN 50126.
- Background in Reliability Engineering in products/systems for industry (Railway, Aerospace, etc.).
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
- Knowledge of Isograph Reliability Workbench Tool or equivalent.
Technical degree or equivalent technical background.
Languages- English (spoken and written) proficiency.
- French or Spanish (spoken and written) knowledge is a plus.
