About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect BIM to join our team at Capgemini Engineering. As a key member of our Digital Design Technologies practice, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative solutions that drive business value for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement digital transformation strategies for clients, leveraging BIM and Digital Twin technologies.
  • Design and implement complex IT architectures for Digital Design Technologies, including BIM authoring tools, CDE, and 3D parametric modeling.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business requirements, and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • Provide advisory services on technology selection and trends in Information Management.
  • Coordinate the development of Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to engineer complex solutions.
  • Coordinate project development and System Integration.
  • Provide advisory services for the evaluation and selection of enabling technologies for BIM implementation, in accordance with industry best practices, ISO 19650 and UNI 11337 standards, IT standards, and client policies.
  • Strengthen our positioning with current clients and acquire new clients.
  • Prepare go-to-market plans and follow their execution to achieve budgeted objectives.
  • Strengthen Capgemini Engineering's visibility on the market as a reference player in BIM projects.
  • Support key accounts and the Market Unit to maximize the Value Proposition.
  • Coordinate with various pre-sales and delivery units in the BIM area to identify other coherent opportunities consistent with the lines of offer of the Center of Excellence (up-selling and cross-selling).
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or similar.
  • At least 8 years of professional experience with a consolidated client portfolio.
  • Knowledge of main BIM & Digital Twin platforms (CDE, BIM authoring, Model&Code checking, BIM 4D&5D), particularly Autodesk Revit, MagiCAD for Revit.
  • Knowledge of main PLM platforms, particularly PTC Windchill.
  • Knowledge of main DB Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, DB2, knowledge of NOSQL DB (MongoDB).
  • Knowledge of Application Server IIS, Tomcat, Wildfly, jBoss.
  • Knowledge and experience of the DevOps paradigm.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies, particularly SCRUM.
  • Experience in designing architectural Cloud: Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
  • Ability to transform a functional requirement into a technical one.
  • Excellent ability to design a Software Architecture.
  • Good ability to manage a team and develop resources.
