Job Role

A key role within the Thales Alenia Space organization, responsible for optimizing workload and performance across various departments. The successful candidate will work closely with management and development teams to establish effective planning and cost management strategies, minimizing global costs while ensuring optimal resource allocation.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Contribute to the management and development of activities concerning workload, planning, and costs, optimizing resources to minimize global costs of the Direction.
  2. Contribute to the OPS-I activities, with the appropriate level of detail, mainly related to Industrial performances, facilitating the teamwork among Business Lines and CC's.
  3. Periodically verify the workload status, highlighting under/overload, monitoring the mitigation actions, and suggesting opportunities inside and among competence centers.
  4. Report on status, including the preparation of documents related to the Workload and Business review.
  5. Contribute to the follow-up of the Monthly Workload Review actions plan.
  6. Ensure resources are correctly allocated versus budgets/targets for Departments.
  7. Periodically verify the programs status, highlighting deviations, supporting cost mitigation actions, and suggesting opportunities inside and among programs.
  8. Report the status, including the preparation of documents related to the program status (BRs, etc).
  9. Contribute to the follow-up of the Monthly Programs Review actions plan.
  10. Manage and develop the company digitalization in workload and performance management area to optimize processes and efficiency also through AI-based solutions.

Requirements
  1. Knowledge and experience of planning build-up, analysis, and related SW tools.
  2. Knowledge and experience of cost estimation, analysis, and related SW tool (SAP, Business Intelligence tools, PowerBI...).
  3. Good knowledge of Suite Office (in particular excel and power point).
  4. Language: English good level written and spoken.
  5. Experience of working in a multi-discipline team environment with project pressures.
  6. Knowledge and experience in the Project Controlling.
  7. Good expertise in AI will be appreciated.
  8. Management Engineering degree or equivalent is needed.
  9. Membership of a professional management Institution (PMI, IPMA, APICS, etc) is an asset.
