Job Title: Group Gas Asset Optimization Specialist

Join Edison, a leading energy company, in its mission to transition the country to a more sustainable energy mix. As a Group Gas Asset Optimization Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the company's goal of maximizing margins, reducing risks, and achieving growth in the gas market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize the gas portfolio, including LNG, power, and CO2/Certificates
  • Integrate the activity of the Group to confirm Edison's role as a gas platform for the EDF Group, particularly in contracting new LNG sources, negotiating and managing maritime transport, optimizing the Group's gas asset portfolio, and managing contracts related to the Dunkerque LNG terminal
  • Support the team in defining the marketing strategy for the regasification capacity on the Dunkerque terminal
  • Support the team in defining the pricing and indexing conditions for negotiating new LNG supply contracts
  • Define the optimal programming of ship receptions at the Dunkerque terminal
  • Manage gas storage and transportation capacities on a medium-term horizon
  • Identify new opportunities for optimization to extract value from the portfolio, including synergies with EDF Group entities
  • Perform weekly and monthly reporting on the portfolio status, including for management reporting purposes
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of commodity markets
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role on the gas/LNG business
  • Excellent analytical and innovative skills, high flexibility, and good complexity management skills
Language Skills:
  • Fluent knowledge of English and/or French
