About the Role

Hitachi Zosen Inova AG is a global leader in waste infrastructure development, and we're seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our acquisition project team, you'll play a crucial role in designing and implementing innovative waste-to-X technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Management: Collaborate with our development and sales department to create new plant layouts that meet company directives and customer requirements.
  • Spreadsheet Preparation: Develop and update spreadsheets for design and calculations to ensure accurate project planning and execution.
  • Plant Design and Execution: Oversee the executive and detailed design of plants, ensuring compliance with contractual specifications, regulations, and company standards.
  • Purchase Specifications: Define purchase specifications for plant components according to company standards, ensuring quality and reliability.
  • Conformity Verification: Collect and verify conformity certificates for materials, installations, and components to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Documentation: Draft the plant use and maintenance manual to ensure smooth operation and maintenance.
Requirements
  • Education: Engineering degree or master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., mechanical, structural, energetic, environmental).
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a comparable function in the energy, environmental technology, renewable energies, or similar industry.
  • Skills: Proficiency in engineering tools such as P&IDs, AutoCad, Revit/Inventor, MS Office (Word, Excel), and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Language: Italian (mother language), English B2+, and additional languages such as German or French.
