Job Overview

Position Summary: The Senior Brand Marketing Strategist will play a pivotal role in enhancing the visibility and success of Nortek, Inc.'s brands and offerings across North America. This position requires a strategic thinker who excels in understanding customer and market dynamics while orchestrating effective outbound marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will be proactive and innovative, crafting compelling positioning and messaging that resonates with both partners and end users.

Location: This role offers flexibility for remote work for highly qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with Nortek's business objectives to drive lead generation and demand.
  • Manage the development, execution, and refinement of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, email, and traditional media.
  • Enhance brand recognition and position the company as a market leader.
  • Ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all marketing materials and communications.
  • Design and oversee nurturing processes to guide leads through their decision-making journey, maintaining engagement and information flow.
  • Create automated drip campaigns tailored to audience segments for timely and relevant content delivery.
  • Collaborate with product line management, sales, and channel marketing teams to gain insights into marketing needs and content requirements.
  • Develop launch strategies that encompass public relations, social media, content marketing, and promotional events.
  • Work with the events and creative teams to design and promote exceptional trade show experiences.
  • Oversee the marketing communications calendar, managing scheduling and distribution for email and social media initiatives.
  • Lead the planning and execution of product launches, ensuring seamless collaboration with product management, sales, and marketing teams.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on marketing campaign performance, utilizing data-driven insights to enhance strategies and improve return on investment.
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality marketing content, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and videos, ensuring alignment with brand messaging.
  • Collaborate with web development and eCommerce teams to enhance online visibility and manage search engine marketing and optimization campaigns.
  • Implement lead generation strategies to identify and nurture prospects through the sales funnel, ensuring a consistent flow of qualified leads.
  • Manage marketing databases and automation systems, implementing effective segmentation strategies to personalize marketing efforts.
  • Utilize marketing analytics to refine communications and strategies for launching Nortek's products and brands.
  • Report on campaign, digital marketing, and website performance metrics.
  • Analyze and optimize social media and email marketing efforts, including the management of social amplification tools.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop digital materials that engage customers throughout their journey.
  • Provide marketing support for trade shows, regional events, and other in-person activities as required.
  • Supervise junior marketing team members.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders across channel and partner marketing, product management, sales, and other departments.
  • Lead the development of customer success stories and testimonials in partnership with the enablement team.
  • Undertake project-based assignments and additional duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience; or a master's degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in marketing and digital content creation, including web, email, and video.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data for informed decision-making.
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics tools, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in marketing automation systems and Google Analytics.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current marketing trends, tools, and technologies.
  • Experience in the home security automation industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce is beneficial.
  • In-depth understanding of digital marketing strategies, including SEO/SEM, PPC, social media advertising, and content marketing.
