Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with management to achieve general and technical objectives.
- Direct and coordinate the activities of the technical office.
- Ensure the regularity of the technical office's processes and implement a document control plan and quality procedures for the company.
- Supervise the management of the technical office while respecting the autonomy of the technical office coordinator and operations.
- Oversee relations with our client for the services provided by the company, specifically regarding the design and contractual aspects of the projects the company is undertaking.
- Supervise the management of the design and ensure that the deadline for its technical progress is met.
- Supervise the preparation of technical drawings.
- Propose initiatives to management aimed at rationalising technical services, streamlining procedures and providing uniformity among the various projects the company is undertaking.
- Assist management in periodical reports on the branch's performance providing appropriate analyses.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 7 years experience working in a similar role within railway engineering or transport engineering is mandatory.
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction engineering and relevant fields.
- A Master's degree in civil engineering, construction engineering will be an added advantage.
- Must have a professional/advanced/proficient user level in English language.
- Excellent supervisory skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyse financial data.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 ecosystem with advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel etc.
- Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
