KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Formulate and implement a comprehensive IT vision and strategy that aligns with the company's overall business goals. Design and establish an effective IT organizational structure that fosters collaboration and supports business operations. Provide strategic leadership for the development and execution of enterprise-wide IT projects. Oversee and manage IT systems across the organization, focusing on cost efficiency, quality of service, and business growth. Ensure comprehensive oversight of all IT initiatives, with a focus on tracking commitments and reporting progress. Take charge of all facets of the organization’s technology and systems, including data security and protection measures. Develop and enforce IT policies, processes, and standards, including disaster recovery and business continuity strategies. Assess and prioritize enterprise-wide IT projects to optimize return on investment. Create and manage IT operational budgets that align with strategic objectives and constraints. Recruit, train, and nurture a team of highly skilled IT professionals. Lead the IT department in effective execution, promoting a culture of innovation and transparency. Counsel the management team on relevant and emerging technologies and digital trends.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the IT sector. Strong understanding of business needs and technology requirements. Expertise in risk management, business continuity, disaster recovery, and business processes (e.g., CRM, ERP, BI, AI). Organized, independent, and solution-focused work approach. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, fostering a collaborative environment. Strong negotiation skills with vendors, clients, and external service providers. Proficiency in German, English, and Italian.
