As a leading player in the financial industry, Société Générale offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join its team as an Internal Audit Manager in Italy. Based on a diversified universal banking model, our company operates through different companies belonging to its three main core businesses: Retail Banking, International Retail Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance, and Corporate and Investment Banking, Private Banking, Asset Management, and Securities Services.
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated individual to lead audit assignments or participate in assignments by bringing their expertise. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and assessing major causes, checking the application of procedures, instructions, and legal and regulatory arrangements regarding security of processing and IT systems, counterparty risk management, quality of credit commitments, efficiency of the permanent control mechanism, and quality of accounting and financial information.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Economics or Finance from a Business School or University and a minimum of 5 years of experience in Audit and Banking. They should possess excellent communication skills, rigor, reliability, and tenacity, with the ability to take a critical attitude and curiosity, analytical and synthesis skills, and a team spirit.

We offer a competitive salary, estimated at €80,000 - €100,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits such as health insurance, pension plan, and paid time off.
In this role, you will contribute to building and fostering trustful and constructive relationships with clients, being a cornerstone for the Italian team in ongoing Risk Assessment, paying attention to all risks, and issuing recommendations that add value to the business. You will also have the opportunity to utilize data analytics tools, supported by Data Analytics Experts, to better identify risks in audited processes.
