Position Overview:

As a Junior Finance Controller at Trane Technologies, you will be integral to the financial management of our distribution operations. This role involves assisting with financial planning, analysis, and reporting, ensuring that all activities align with company policies and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will possess a keen analytical mindset, exceptional organizational abilities, and a genuine enthusiasm for finance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and financial modeling.
  • Monitor and evaluate financial performance, identifying trends and providing insights to senior management.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate the coordination of internal and external audits.
  • Maintain precise and current financial records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with various departments to collect financial data and aid in business decision-making.
  • Engage in process improvement initiatives to enhance financial reporting and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a controller role, preferably within the distribution or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong grasp of financial principles, accounting standards (US GAAP), and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; experience with financial software (Oracle) is advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to adapt to evolving business environments and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Languages: Proficiency in Italian and English.
