Job Summary:

Assurant, a global leader in business services, is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Optimization Specialist to manage the mobile phone trade-in programs in Italy. This role is a key part of our European Trade-In Commercial team and will play a crucial role in maximizing profitability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily trade-in programs in Italy, ensuring seamless execution and optimal results.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, best practices, and opportunities in the trade-in market.
  • Monitor trade-in performance and identify areas for improvement to increase profitability.
  • Provide regular analysis on Italian trade-in programs, including trade-in volume, stock, sales, pricing, grade mix, expenses, and service level analysis.
  • Collaborate with the Call Center and Internal Operations Team to monitor service levels and identify training needs.
  • Work with trade-in service providers to monitor service levels and process improvements.
  • Support the management of the TIV offer pricing process, ensuring it meets margin targets and client commitments.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in Italian and English.
  • Experience in data analysis and Excel spreadsheet manipulation.
  • Background in Supply Chain or Purchasing is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Knowledge of mobile phone devices is a plus, but not required.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work towards goals and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, with a strong focus on data analysis and manipulation.
