Job Title: Finance Lead

Join HHLA PLT Italy S.r.l. as a Finance Lead and take on a vital role in shaping the company's financial future.

About the Role

The Finance Lead will be responsible for owning the budget, forecast, and financial reporting for the Expansion Project. This includes supporting the Project Management team with accurate forecasting and budget tracking, including cash flow management. Additionally, the role will ensure regular reporting is up to par and oversee accounting activities of the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish an internal control system (ICS) of the Company.
  • Provide periodic reports to the Group on financial results, cash flows, and investments (IFRS).
  • Support internal and external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits.
  • Establish a risk management and reporting process to the Group.
  • Maintain relationships with external consultants, ensuring corporate, fiscal, and administrative obligations are fulfilled.
  • Prepare budgets and include regular forecasting.
  • Comply with safety and security rules and regulations, leading by example.
  • Follow corporate authority matrix, contract policies, and compliance guidelines.
  • Actively report improvement opportunities to direct reports.
Requirements

We're looking for an accurate and process-minded individual who can engage with project stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a high sense of responsibility, as the role is vital to tracking progress and ensuring deliverables are achieved.

  • Degree in Finance, Economy, Business Engineering, or related field.
  • Knowledge of IFRS and applying in practice.
  • Experience (5+ years) in finance controlling, commercial administration (including critical paths, resources, etc.).
  • Good Italian and English (German is a plus).
  • Experience (5+ years) in projects/developments.
  • Good understanding of MS Office.
  • Good understanding of SAP/accounting systems & procedures.
  • Understanding of project management methodologies, including project controls.
  • Driven and detail-oriented, with a process & logic-driven mentality.
