About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Business Controller to join our team in Rome. As a Business Controller, you will play a critical role in supporting the Investment Director in the preparation of monthly reporting packages, developing and managing periodic reporting, and monitoring profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Investment Director in the preparation of monthly reporting packages, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy.
- Develop and manage periodic reporting, including key economic indicators, to provide insights into the performance of various areas.
- Monitor profitability by product/client, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with the Finance Team and Trading Team to monitor company revenues, costs, and financial performance.
- Provide support to the Commercial Department in margin analysis and to the Trading Team in analyzing trends and providing ideas for data tracking improvement.
- Help create policies and procedures to ensure proper alignment between Finance and Commercial data.
- Collaborate with the Investment, Trading, Finance, and Commercial Teams to achieve business objectives.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 2 years of work experience in Business Controlling or Business Analysis.
- A Master's Degree in Business Administration or Finance.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel and analytical thinking skills.
- Excellent knowledge of English (written and spoken).
You will also need to be:
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
