Job Title: Credit Operations Specialist

Adecco Italia S.P.A. is seeking a Credit Operations Specialist for a client operating in the energy sector. The successful candidate will report to the Credit Operations & Cash-in Commodities Supervisor and Credit Manager, and will be responsible for managing cash inflows from clients and supporting credit management processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform accounting reconciliations of ageing, intercompany, unallocated cash, and fiscal reconciliations, ensuring no discrepancies between the accounting system and the general ledger.
  • Manage suspensions, administrative terminations, and commodity supply defaults (analyze positions, monitor cash flows, and respond to local distributors, and interface with internal departments for analysis and follow-up on recommended actions).
  • Prepare Cmor sales outgoing: analyze indemnity requests, send electronic flows, and reconcile received amounts.
  • Manage credit transfers (analyze ageing, evaluate and determine potential portfolios, support all steps of the pre-transfer process, and manage post-transfer operations for both factors and internal accounting operations).
  • Perform VAT recoveries (analyze situations that determine VAT recoveries for partial coverage of arrears and preside over the related process, including accounting and fiscal reconciliations).
Requirements:
  • University degree in economics or relevant experience in the sector.
  • Excellent Excel skills for data analysis and management.
  • Good written and spoken English language skills.
  • Knowledge of cash collection processes.
  • Understanding of accounting logic, particularly in the asset management area.
  • Ability to use NET@SIU, SAP, and SALESFORCE software.
