Job Title: Voice Core Operations Specialist

At Vodafone, we're looking for a skilled Voice Core Operations Specialist to join our team in Rome. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the quality and continuity of our Core IMS Networks in a multi-vendor environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform second-level troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues with Core IMS Network Elements.
  • Collaborate with 1st Line Operations teams to analyze alarms and detect faults.
  • Conduct data configuration, software rollout, and integration activities with planning and delivery functions.
  • Perform proactive maintenance activities to prevent incidents and optimize the network.
  • Ensure planned work activities, network rollout, software upgrades, and parameter changes in Core CS network.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, or Information Technology.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Core Network Operations and Maintenance activities.
  • Nokia core network trainings and certificates or equivalent.
  • Excellent knowledge of Core Network principles for 2G/LTE technologies.
  • Good knowledge of Core Network protocols.
  • Experience in trace analysis and automation skills.
  • Unix/Linux OS administration skills.
  • Team working oriented and good communication skills.
  • English (spoken and written) and Italian language skills.
