Key Responsibilities:
- EHS Policy Development
- Conduct hazard identification and risk assessments to determine necessary measures for health and safety in the workplace
- Maintain and develop the Health, Safety and Environment Management System in accordance with ISO45001 and ISO14001 standards
- Ensure ongoing improvement through regular audits
- Stay up-to-date with applicable health, safety and environmental regulations and drive compliance
- Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement preventive measures
- Select appropriate personal protective equipment based on risk assessments
- Organize and deliver training programs for employees
- Ensure suitable medical and paramedical care for plant operations
- Track and analyze key performance indicators for sustainability, safety, health and environment
- Support the Maintenance Team in inspecting equipment and managing energy efficiency
- Supervise external contractors and utilize external expertise as needed
- Implement proper waste management practices
