Job Title: Senior Estimator

About the Role:

The City of New York is seeking a skilled Senior Estimator to perform independent cost estimating work involving quantity take-offs from architectural drawings, maps, plans, and detail sketches. The selected candidate will work with various methods and technologies, including general construction scope and trade disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare cost estimates following the unit's cost estimating procedures.
  • Support all phases of the project, including front-end planning.
  • Develop and review schedules, and support risk management effort and bid analysis.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor or a Master of Architecture degree from an accredited college.
  • One year of full-time satisfactory experience in architectural work.
