As a key member of the Automation and Cloud Services team, you will play a crucial role in leveraging cloud technologies and automation to streamline operations and enhance business efficiency.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Advanced Automation Development: Design and implement an automation framework using Pulumi, Terraform, and Ansible, with a focus on streamlining cloud operations tasks and improving system efficiencies.
  2. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Mastery: Employ Pulumi or Terraform extensively to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security across multiple cloud environments.
  3. Ansible Integration: Develop Ansible playbooks for configuration management, enabling seamless automated provisioning and deployment processes across all cloud environments.
  4. Python Programming: Develop and maintain Python scripts and applications that automate cloud operations tasks, improve system efficiencies, and contribute to the automation catalog.
  5. Cloud Infrastructure Management: Oversee and maintain a multifaceted cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, cost-efficiency, and security across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud platforms.
  6. Process Automation: Identify and automate routine cloud operations tasks, minimizing manual interventions and promoting operational excellence.
  7. Collaborative Development: Work alongside cloud, development, and DevOps teams to ensure automation tools and practices meet operational needs and solve complex challenges.
  8. Documentation and Advocacy: Create comprehensive documentation for the automation processes and service catalog, advocating for automation best practices across the organization.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related technology field, or equivalent practical experience.
  2. 8+ years of experience in cloud operations and infrastructure management in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  3. 5+ years in incident response and major incident management.
  4. Expertise in Pulumi or Terraform for IaC, with a strong portfolio demonstrating successful deployments.
  5. Proficient in Ansible for configuration management and automation tasks.
  6. Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in developing automation tools and scripts in a cloud environment.
  7. Advanced Linux and Windows experience.
  8. Certification in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
  9. Solid understanding of Cloud networking and security.
  10. Expert knowledge in containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher).
  11. Experience in version control, CI, and automation tools such as Github/Bitbucket, Github Actions, Jenkins, Rundeck.
  12. Experience in deploying and troubleshooting Java-based applications and microservices.
  13. Experience in deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting database technologies like MSSQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
  14. Experience in monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Nagios, Prometheus, ELK stack).
  15. Familiarity with project management tools like Confluence/Jira is beneficial.
