About the Job
We are seeking an experienced IT Auditor to join our team. The ideal candidate will evaluate and improve our IT controls, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and identifying potential risks. This role demands a deep understanding of IT systems, security protocols, and auditing processes.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Annual IT Audit Plan: Define, supervise, and report on the annual IT audit plan, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Conduct IT Audits and Evaluations: Conduct planned and ad-hoc IT audits to assess internal controls, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
- Analyze and Evaluate IT Systems: Analyze and evaluate IT systems, applications, and infrastructures to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
- Prepare IT Audit Reports: Draft clear and concise IT audit reports, highlighting findings and recommendations for risk mitigation.
- Present Results and Recommendations: Present results and subsequent recommendations to senior management.
- Monitor Corrective Actions: Monitor corrective actions taken in response to audit findings to ensure timely and effective implementation.
- Stay Updated on IT Regulations: Stay updated on relevant IT regulations and standards, such as DORA, ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC, and COBIT.
- Participate in IT Risk Assessments: Participate in IT risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Provide Advice and Support: Provide advice and support on IT projects to ensure controls are adequately designed and implemented.
- Assist in Training and Awareness: Assist in training and raising awareness among staff on IT risks and best practices in cybersecurity.
Your Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
- MSc Degree in Economics, Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent degree.
- 2+ years of professional experience in consulting firms or IT companies in the area of IT Audit.
- Good knowledge of IT and Cybersecurity auditing and controls frameworks such as COBIT, and management systems standards such as ISO 27001.
- Strong process and/or project management skills.
What We Offer
- A full-time, permanent employment contract.

Salary Estimate: €50,000 - €70,000 per annum (depending on location and experience).
