About the Role

AWS Infrastructure Services is responsible for designing, planning, delivering, and operating all AWS global infrastructure. We're the team that keeps the cloud running, supporting all AWS data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continuous access to the innovation they rely on.

We work on complex problems with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain, and we're looking for talented individuals who want to help. You'll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 7x24 roster duty in data center operations
  • Incident first responder and onsite hands-on support
  • Break-fix and troubleshooting according to process guideline
  • Maintain proper media operations according to process guideline
  • Capacity landing and decommissioning according to process guideline
  • Site management and maintain tidiness in operation areas

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor or equivalent qualifications in Information Technology / Computer Science / Engineering or related disciplines.
  • 1 year experience in server / network hardware and operation systems maintenance / troubleshooting.
  • Basic knowledge of network cabling (fiber optic) and operation support experience.

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Industry experience in Data Center Operations.
  • Knowledge on data center networking.
  • Knowledge on cloud computing.
  • Knowledge on continuous process improvement.
  • Understanding of data center safety and security environment.
