Job Summary: INTERSOS is seeking a talented Liquidity Advisor to join its Finance Department.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a reliable forecasting system for cash flows (incoming and outgoing) harmonized for HQ Rome and Missions.
  • Improve tools for liquidity monitoring at HQ Rome, Regional office, and Mission level.
  • Monitor daily general instalment plan at HQ, including bank transfers to Missions, reimbursements to Rome, and liquidity offsetting.
  • Establish optimal liquidity buffer with the Director of Finance to develop financial strategies with banks.
  • Monitor thresholds to ensure current liquidity risk exposure stays within bank's tolerance and appetite.
  • Support Missions and Regional offices by providing technical advice on offsetting financial operations and cash resource optimization.
  • Produce liquidity reporting on a quarterly basis aggregating metrics and results for Senior Management.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Economics, Finance, or relevant field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Risk Management, Numerical Analysis, Accounting, and Finance.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and knowledge of financial services/cash flow forecasting platforms.
  • Fluent English and Italian languages are an asset.
