Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Specialist to join our team at Regola S.r.l. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise software support, ICT system administration, and technical support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for all enterprise software products delivered to our customers.
  • Set up and maintain environments to ensure optimal performance of the ICT system.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Ensure the integrity and high availability of our infrastructure, including disaster recovery and business continuity.
  • Implement and support disaster recovery / business continuity solutions.
  • Maintain system documentation, including system reviews and recommendations.
  • Identify potential issues and propose solutions and improvements.
  • Secure systems by establishing and enforcing policies and defining and monitoring access.
  • Troubleshoot and fault find if issues arise.
  • Fulfill ad hoc tasks and projects as required by the company.
  • Contribute to the definition and implementation of project best practices and quality processes.
  • Participate in the 24/7 on-call, shifts rotation, and short travel.
  • Manage and monitor existing systems and infrastructure, including Microsoft environments, VMware environments, and Linux environments.
  • Experience with monitoring tools, such as Zabbix.
  • Experience with ticketing systems.
  • Scripting knowledge, including Bash and PowerShell.
  • TSQL language.
  • Networking and IT infrastructure, including Cisco, Aruba, Ubiquiti, and Mikrotik.
  • ITIL certification.
  • Technical certifications, including Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, and Security.
  • Willingness to work in a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of previous experience in the role.
  • Strong background in enterprise software support, ICT system administration, and technical support.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a team.
  • Willingness to work in a 24/7 on-call rotation and participate in short travel.
  • Experience with monitoring tools, ticketing systems, scripting languages, and IT infrastructure.
  • ITIL certification and technical certifications, such as Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, and Security.
