Signal & Power Integrity Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Signal & Power Integrity Engineer to join our team at Infineon Technologies. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing system-level Signal & Power Integrity simulations to improve the early-stage predictability of Analog Mixed-signal IP within the final application.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement system-level Signal & Power Integrity simulations to improve the accuracy of developed models enabling design space exploration & optimization.
  • Contribute to circuit design solutions & system definition by performing EM modelling, parametrization & simulations of complete systems.
  • Perform simulations vs measurements correlation to improve the accuracy of developed models.
  • Pro-actively interact with design, layout and application engineers to identify, understand and mitigate potential SI & PI issues during early design stage.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree/PhD degree in electronics with at least 1-3 years of relevant experience in EM modeling and system-level simulation.
  • Experience of working with electromagnetic simulation tools (Ansys EM Suite, Keysight ADS, Cadence Sigrity) & circuit simulation tools such as Cadence Virtuoso.
  • Solid background in High-Speed Interfaces simulations & performance analysis (Knowledge of thermal modelling & simulation is a plus).
  • Experience with Python programming & MATLAB.
