Job Overview: We are seeking a passionate Climbing Instructor to join our team at Aethos Monterosa. As a key member of our adventure team, you will lead climbing sessions, teach essential techniques, and ensure a safe and supportive environment for climbers of all skill levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guiding Climbing Sessions: Lead groups and individuals on an adventure to the top, offering encouragement, tips, and hands-on support to help them achieve their goals.
  • Safety First: Ensure that all climbing activities are conducted with the highest safety standards, including proper use of equipment, safety checks, and adherence to guidelines.
  • Teaching Techniques: Break down complex skills into easy-to-understand steps and teach climbing techniques from basic to advanced.
  • Equipment Management: Maintain and inspect climbing gear and equipment, ensuring everything is in top condition for each session.
  • Creating a Positive Environment: Foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere where climbers feel motivated to push their limits and celebrate their achievements.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Be prepared to handle any emergencies that may arise, with a clear understanding of first aid and rescue procedures.
  • Promoting Climbing Programs: Encourage guests to participate and explore the exciting world of climbing.

Requirements:
  • Fluent in English and Italian.
  • 1+ years of hospitality experience is a plus.
  • Extensive climbing experience, with a solid understanding of climbing techniques and safety protocols.
  • Certification in climbing instruction, first aid, and rescue.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to instruct and motivate climbers of all levels.
  • The ability to stay calm and collected in challenging situations.
  • An enthusiastic and positive attitude.
  • Physical fitness and stamina.
