Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Database Solutions Architect to lead our team in designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure database solutions. As a key member of our technical leadership team, you will oversee the design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle databases in both on-premise and cloud environments. Your expertise in Oracle database architecture, performance tuning, and troubleshooting will be essential in ensuring optimal database security, availability, and performance optimization. You will also be responsible for planning and executing database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need to have at least 7 years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. In-depth knowledge of Oracle database architecture, performance tuning, and troubleshooting is mandatory. Expertise in Oracle database solutions in cloud environments, including Oracle Cloud, AWS RDS, Azure SQL, etc., is also required. Proficiency in DevOps tools and practices, such as Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes, is highly desirable. Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills are essential for managing and motivating technical teams in a fast-paced environment. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required, and a Master's degree is a plus. Fluency in English and Italian is necessary, and German is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills, are also essential.
